What's inside a Goodman 96% furnace
The GM9S96 uses an aluminized-steel tubular primary heat exchanger and a stainless-steel secondary heat exchanger that pulls extra heat out of the exhaust. A silicon nitride igniter lights the burners, a draft inducer moves combustion gases out through the vent, and a multi-speed ECM blower moves air through your ducts. A self-diagnostic control board stores fault codes, which makes future service faster.

How Air Summit installs a Goodman furnace
It starts with a free estimate: we look at the home, the ductwork, the venting and the gas line, then size the furnace to the house instead of copying the old one. A high-efficiency furnace vents through PVC pipe and drains condensate, so we plan both.
